As executive vice president and director of core banking at CB&T, Ben Alvarado oversees small-business banking and the branch banking network across California. He joined CB&T from Sunwest Bank, where he served as executive vice president and head of retail and business banking.

Alvarado holds an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business Management at Pepperdine University and earned his bachelor’s degree from California State, Long Beach.

Active in community affairs, Alvarado is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University, a mentor for the Student Center for Professional Development at California State University Long Beach, member of the Board for the Orange County United Way and board member of the nonprofit Bundles of Books.
