Frank Bonder oversees the credit risk functions for the Western Credit Region, which includes California Bank & Trust (CB&T) and the Commerce Banks of Washington and Oregon. This includes being the Senior Credit Approver responsible for all transactions originated, managing a team of nine credit approvers, plus support staff handling credit policy, credit approval process, and risk grading. Bonder also manages the Regional Special Assets Group (SAG), which includes a team of 20 workout officers and support staff. He was previously Executive Vice President / Executive Director of Lending Services for CB&T from 2009 to 2015.

Prior to CB&T, Bonder had 30 years of commercial banking experience in various management positions at JP Morgan, Chase, Bank One and First Interstate Bank. Production management positions included responsibility for California, the western U.S. and ultimately the national line of business for real estate banking for JP Morgan. Bonder earned a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
