If you are selected to proceed with our recruiting process, one of our team members will reach out to you to schedule your interview(s). First-round interviews are conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams throughout September and October. Second-round interviews are conducted in-person in early November.

Early Career Development
Internships at CB&T
Every year, we hire junior/senior level undergraduate and graduate students for our summer internship program, which runs from mid-June to mid-August. All internships are full-time, paid opportunities located throughout California. Typically, we accept applications for internships from mid-September to November, and from January to March. The available intern positions close as they are filled, so be sure to apply early to be considered.
Our internship program provides students the opportunity to experience hands-on work within our core departments. Interns also enjoy networking opportunities and presentations from company leaders. From engaging in special projects to collaborating with executives, students will leave with a sense of energy and excitement about the banking and technology industry.
Banker Development Program
Being a great banker requires a well-rounded understanding of our business. Our Banker Development Program ensures the future leaders of our organization receive both knowledge and experience across the bank. Plus, they gain valuable mentoring from the bank’s current leadership team.
Developing Future Leaders of the Bank
The CB&T Banker Development Program is a key part of our company’s strategy to educate, develop, and retain the next generation of commercial lenders and credit professionals. This program is tailored to recent college graduates aspiring to enter the banking industry and refine their skills.
Program Overview
The Banker Development Program is a rotational credit and sales training program designed to provide a solid foundation in the basics of banking. It provides an opportunity to apply finance and accounting skills to assess credit and business risk, while also developing strong sales skills within the first year of employment through hands-on experience. The program offers a defined career path, which begins with classroom training and transitions into the opportunity to rotate through various lending departments. Throughout the program, analysts also receive mentors who serve as additional resources and knowledgeable associates.
The Banker Development Program offers:
- Exposure to vast career opportunities at CB&T
- Solid foundation in the basics of banking and credit
- Defined career path that begins with classroom training as a Credit Analyst and evolves into a Relationship Manager or Portfolio Manager role
- One-on-one working relationships with high-level bank decision makers
- Opportunity to apply finance and accounting skills to credit and business risk analysis
Upon completion of the program, participants will be considered for permanent internal positions, such as assistant relationship officers, relationship managers, portfolio managers, and more.
